Attractive, Victorian, Elm, Country, Armchair Antique Elm Country %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
An attractive elm chair. We date this chair to the late 19century.

The chair sits on two turned legs at the front and downward tapered legs to the rear.

The arms and backrest are in a horse shoe shape and have spindle supports with the higher carved backrest.

The chair has an overall height of 32" (82cm), an overall width of 22.5" (57cm), an overall depth of 22" (56cm), a backrest height of 14" (36cm), a seat height of 17.5" (45cm) and a seat depth of 17.5" (45cm).

The chair remains in a very good usable condition with only very minor surface marks commensurate with age and usage. There are a couple of old repairs and a front leg has a small chip of wood missing from the base of the leg.

This remains a very stylish and elegant armchair. It is very comfortable and supportive to sit on and will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
