A good quality early 1930s Art Deco inspired glazed bookcase/cabinet in fine order with the bonus of a working lock and key. This one possesses some lovely features and highlights lifting it above the norm.

We have a lovely even tone to the well grained oak. The large oak balls to the base are very fetching and the 6 paned doors are spot on.

Workshop report – the piece survives in a well cared for order. We have very light age marks, no repairs or pieces missing. The back is original and good. The doors close level and the lock is working as it should. We have 3 adjustable oak shelves inside and we have ensured all is clean and the cabinet has enjoyed a light wax. Expect a good quality well cherished piece.

Ready to place and fill as you desire, a very attractive 1930s British glazed cabinet.

When purchasing from us we include delivery within mainland UK, excluding Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Isles, in the purchase price and liaise with you to ensure delivery is as swift and as smooth as possible. We try our best to deliver within 14 working days. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isles and for World-wide shipping.

Items are delivered by private courier, usually this is a one man service. If you require a two person delivery, please let us know. Smaller items are wrapped and packed (into recycled boxes where possible) and sent via a national courier service, tracking details will be provided once an item has been collected from us.

Terms and conditions

If you are not happy with an item you have 14 days to return it. This is providing that the item is returned, in the condition it left us, within 14 days. Please note that items must be wrapped and insured, with the return cost being covered by you. Once the item is back with us, having had a once over in the workshop, your refund will be issued.

On the rare occasion that an item is damaged in transit, please notify us immediately or within 48 hours and provide us with details and images so we can best remedy the situation.
