A fine piece of arts and crafts copperwork, a watering can by Joseph Sankey. The piece is wonderful quality throughout and decorated to the front and back with embossed stylised tulips. The condition is very good with just some water marks from use. The piece is fully marked JS&S.B. for Joseph Sankey and Sons, Bilston, which is in Wolverhampton near Birmingham. The can is also marked ‘4’ for the four pint size and has the registration mark for this design which is for 1904. A fine quality piece of Arts and Crafts metalware in great untouched condition.
