£895. A delightful late Victorian Arts and Crafts style mahogany Davenport writing desk by the celebrated manufacturers Maple & Co. The leather topped writing slope lifts to reveal a birch interior with two drawers and a push button to release the galleried cover of the letter rack above. In the base, the right hand side panel is a door which opens to reaveal four mahogany lined drawers. Good carved panels. Stamped Maple & Co to the top edge of the door . In excellent condition, restored and repolished with a new leather.
