Arts & Crafts Cradle
Fabulous Arts & Crafts Cradle.
The cradle is made from quarter sawn Oak & is complimented by carved panels, each depicting a nursery rhyme.
Each panel is finished off by a frieze of Oak leaves & Acorns & the cradle itself has carved Acorns at each corner.The rockers are also carved with Oak leaves & Acorns. Some of the panels have age related splits as one can expect. They are stable.
The carvings are of a Squirrel, Stag, Jack & Jill, Little Miss Muppet, 3 Blind Mice, 3 Little Pigs, Little Boy Blue, Wise Owl & a Wolf(possibly from Little Red Riding Hood).
