£1995. Superb red walnut Arts and Crafts style bedroom suite c.1910, a wonderful example of the style from the very early years of the 20th.c. The delightful pewter and marquetry inlaid panels on the wardrobe doors, suggestive of the work of designers like Charles Rennie Mackintosh, are repeated on the centre drawer of the dressing chest and echoed again in the tulip forms either side of the mirror. Inside the wardrobe is all hanging space and retains its original blue silk lining. Excellent condition. Restored and repolished in our workshops.
