Late 19th.c. mahogany English Art and Crafts movement highback armchair c.1880. Of singular design, based on the traditional Winsdor chair, with a shaped and upholstered backrest with scroll detail to the ‘wings’. Crisply turned spindles around a kidney shaped seat raised on turned legs with a crinoline stretcher. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops and freshly upholstered.
