A stylish Art Deco walnut dressing table stool or piano stool dated 1941. It has an upholstered drop in seat and straight sides in wonderful mellow walnut veneers and stands on an ebonised plinth base. All veneered in beautifully figured walnut with a few old mends and scuffs to the veneers in places (see photos). The drop seat is webbed with horsehair upholstery which is in good condition. It is stamped underneath with the makers marks “TT CASS & SONS HULL 1941”.
