A wonderful original Art Deco walnut and oak bench / stool. This was made in England, it dates from the 1920-30’s.

It is of superb quality, it has a beautiful and useful design. The frame is a gorgeous honey coloured oak, which has lovely silky grain patterns. The lift up seat is made from contrasting walnut which also has a beautiful colour tone and impressive grain patterns. The frame has geometric shapes cut out under each corner, it stands on recessed ebonised feet.

We have had this re-polished and re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The condition is excellent throughout.
