Art Deco French
This amazing French burr walnut King size bed is offered in very good condition.
The bed has a large headboard with a arch top, the headboard has wonderful brass ormolu detailing with baskets of flowers and floral designs. The headboard also has mother of pearl detailing, inlaid marquetry and string inlays.
The footboard has a swept roll edge top with brass moulded to the base and solid brass wave detailing. The footboard has been reupholstered on the inside of the footboard.
The bed has burr walnut side rails with brass edging and the bed stands on solid mahogany feet with solid brass cappings with ornate detailing.
The bed has been completely repolished, there are some slight flaws in the veneers on the sides but nothing to detract from the overall appearance of this magnificent bed.
We have recovered a walnut footstool in the same fabric and is offered within the price of the bed.
The bed comes with a newly fitted set of bed slats and dismantles for ease of transportation and delivery.
We also have a matching large triple armoire for sale.
