A lovely double bed frame. We date this bed to the 1930s.

The bed comes in four sections, the head and footboards, the metal side rails and an upholstered divan base.

The head board sits on square section legs and the footboard sits on outward tapered feet. The upholstered base sits within the side rails.

The headboard and footboard both have lovely burr walnut veneers.

The headboard has a height of 45.5" (116cm) and the footboard a height of 24.5" (62cm), both by 54" (137cm) wide. The base will support a mattress 75" (191cm) long by 54" (137cm) wide.

This lovely bed remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are a few minor marks and indentations to the finish around the feet and some minor wear to the veneer. The divan base has a few minor marks and some wear including a couple of small tears from past use.

This remains a very stylish and elegant bed which will continue to provide sweet repose for many years to come.
