A very rare and unusual coffee table which is made completely of Bakelite, the early form of plastic. The table consists of a quatreform base and circular top in a very simple and stylish construction. The whole is in excellent condition and is an interesting precursor to all modern antique furniture, I have never seen a piece of Bakelite antique furniture before. C.1930.
