Oak English Georgian Elbow Chair - Fine Shape - c1760

This Georgian period Oak chair is a hugely attractive piece of antique furniture which offers beautiful lines and comfortable seating.

A well proportioned piece with upholstered seat in a quality textile.

The chair is a stylish piece with very well formed sweeping arms and a classic back splat and top rail combination. The solid square section legs and fine width to the seat make this a very desirable chair.

The generous seat height of 45cm (17.7") and 58cm (22.8") seat width provide a pleasing seating experience.

The piece displays warmth and patina throughout with the oak showing depth, grain and character. The chair is solid of joint and in good order.
