Ardconay Hotel, JG SCOTT MacGREGOR

The Ardconay Hotel was possibly a holiday destination for Scott-MacGregor and this super watercolour is of the building. We think it is in Scotland and can picture the artist, in- situ recording what he saw. This is an excellent watercolour from a recently discovered portfolio of this well respected British artists work. Scott-MacGregor captures the beauty of nature in his painting and transports the viewer into the picture with an almost effortless way of creating the scene.
