An excellent antique Victorian open bookcase in walnut. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

It is of super quality, with lovely carving around the top edge and it sits on a sturdy plinth base. There are three original adjustable shelves with shark teeth supports. It is a very useful size, with lots of storage space for books, it is also not too deep so is not very imposing.

This has a beautiful patina and colour tone, we have recently had it re-polished to a very high standard. The condition is fantastic for its age.
