Antique Victorian Bentwood Hatstand / Coat Rack
An amazing original antique bentwood hatstand. This was made in central Europe, most likely by Thonet in Austria around the 1880-1900 period.
It is a fantastic model, with a very wide and beautifully curvaceous base. It has eight beautifully curved supports on the top for coats and hats, the base is designed to support umbrellas and walking sticks.
We have recently had this re-polished, it is in excellent overall condition for its age.
