This is an antique trammel point set. An English, silver nickel draughtsman's instrument set by Stanley of London, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Splendid boxed set of drawing tools
Displaying a desirable aged patina
Silver nickel instruments in good order
Presented within a wood carry case

2 Stanley 'Swiss pattern' trammel points
'Type A' spring loaded point within the trammel head
Fine knurled detail to the adjustment wheels
Also including a pen and pencil insert

The tools resting against a dark blue velvet lining
Dressed lid interior in rich cobalt blue
Stanley maker's mark in golden tooling
Reads 'Stanley - Great Turnstile, Holborn, London
