A high quality and unusual French carriage antique clock. A heavy case with front and rear decorative side columns. Dentil cornice mouldings and a fluted handle centre. A gilt dial with convex silvered chapter ring. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Push button repeating. The original lever escapement. Circa 1895.
