Antique set of 8 (6+2) 19th Century dining chairs
Antique quality set of 8 (6 + 2) early 19th Century mahogany elm kitchen dining chairs. The chairs are made of mahogany, but have a lovely light colour akin to elm.
Solid, no loose joints. Full of age, character and charm. Best colour and patina.
Would look great in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions:
Chairs 51cmW x 43cmD x 90cmH (42cm high seat).
Carvers 56cmW x 47cmD x 90cmH (42cm high seat).
In good antique condition with historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is to be expected with functional antique furniture. There are historical repairs (including typical seat cracking), but all is good and strong now.
There are historic extinct woodworm holes (to the non-mahogany under seat rails as is typical), that we have treated for good measure.
