This is a very attractive and unusual 19th century side table in beautiful satinwood dating from around 1870. The table is of Dutch origin and has an unusual rolling tambour front to the piece with storage compartments and a pretty cast Gilt Bronze trellis work to the edge. The satinwood is attractively inlaid with various fruitwoods and the piece has a lovely warm colour and nice antique patina. This would make a lovely alcove or hall table and has nice proportions measuring 75 cms high to the top of the trellis 73 high to the surface by 70 cms wide and 36 cms deep.
