Excellent Demi Lune Foldover Card Table - Mahogany - c1900

This late Victorian period table is presented in superb order and is a very pleasing example of a fold-over demi-lune.

The piece will make a fine hallway, study or sofa table and converts to a lovely four seat card table making it wonderful for games, tea or intimate dining.

The table rides upon classic elongated cabriole legs which terminate in a claw & ball foot and present carved splayed shoulders.

In closed form the table displays a fine front edge and quality polished upper. The table lifts open to reveal a pleasing baize surface, with the open flap supported by a rear leg which slide-extends providing support and offers a hidden storage recess drawer.

The exceptional design and classic lines of this piece ensure that it will suit any location.
