Circa 1890, unusual pair of red walnut stools. The shaped, solid walnut tops, one with a cut out for lifting and applied brass handle to the front. With simple frieze beneath, and standing on 4 elegant legs with turning, fluting and tapering down to a cruciform stretcher, finishing with a small turned knob to the outside of the leg. Finishing on an unusual brass castor, with turned cow horn (bovine) wheels.
