Impressive pair of Gothic Oak stands with octagonal tops with carved frieze beneath,4 Gothic arches to the front & octagonal plinth. There are traces of original gilding, small section missing on one plinth ( see photo ) & original light Oak finish. These stands were used for large flower displays but are robust enough to take statuary.
These stands have a look of Pugin.
