Offered for sale is this superb quality Victorian mahogany telescopic dining table extending from approximately 47" x 45" extending to 92.5" x 45" with two leaves, a comfortable 10 seater. The rectangular top has rounded edges with a double moulded edge above turned, and fluted supports with carved shoulder and standing on brass castors. This is an early Victorian pull out dining table with a superior extending mechanism that works very very smoothly and comes complete with "piano" clips. The table has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character. It is in excellent showroom condition and dates to about 1840. Over the past 30 years we have sold over a thousand sets of chairs along with hundreds of dining tables to satisfied customers.
