Antique very large fine quality ~9' Cuban mahogany extending dining table George III. Attractive line inlays.
A lovely fine quality table dating from C1800. The table has a beautifully patinated top with over 2 centuries of use and stands on quality period brass cup castors.
An attractive table that is solid, strong and has no loose joints.
Would look amazing in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions: 262cmL (209cm with one leaf) x 107cmW x 71cmH x 58.5cmH knee hole. Could also be used as a pair of 107cm diameter demi-lune console antique tables plus a 157cmL x 107cmW drop leaf table. 40cmW space between legs on the 'D' ends.
In very good antique condition with minor historic knocks, marks, wear and imperfections as you would expect, nothing bad... all typical of a looked after piece of antique furniture. Some slight waviness to the lovely patinated top, which adds to the charm. Some historic extinct woodworm holes (non visible non-mahogany components of the underneath table supports) that have been treated for good measure.
