This is a good antique Indian Kangra gouache painting on silk dating from the late 19th Century. The painting shows Krishna kneeling before Radha in a beautiful rural setting with a peacock in the foreground and blossoming trees and pretty village huts to the background. The painting is in excellent condition is in an attractive distressed white solid wood frame with grey and ivory mounts. It measures 37 cms by 33cms overall, including the frame.
