An attractive small antique Georgian side cabinet / commode in figured mahogany dating from circa 1820. The front lifts up to reveal storage space inside (bottom is false front which does not open). It has beautifully figured mahogany to the front, with ebony stringing and attractive diamond escutcheons and stands on elegant out-swept bracket feet. This piece originally started life as a commode / chamber pot cupboard. A high quality piece it would make a lovely side cabinet, hall cupboard or TV unit.

Some old veneer mends in places – to top and feet (see photos). General wear and marks. Handles are modern replacements.
