This is a lovely example of an Oak George II small chest of drawers c1740-60.  It is raised on Ogee bracket feet with quadrant moulding above capping them off.  there are two graduated drawers both with mahogany cross banding decoration with quarter round shaping to the corner.  It retains its original locks and escutcheons with no key sadly.  The top moulding is a double quadrant moulding with mahogany cross banding to the top edge.  A lovely piece in a nice colour.  It has had later turned handles applied and taken off at some point.
