Antique French Walnut Sideboard Buffet c 1890
Antique French Walnut Sideboard Buffet with Marble Top and dating from aorund 1890.
It has a moulded edge to the marble top above two oak lined drawers with moulded fronts and gilt handles and divided by a moulded panel. There are two fielded panelled doors with lovely carved Laurel and Ribbon design and each door having a working key. The doors are divided by a central carved panel. Internally there is a shelf. It has a moulded edge to each side with carved motif to the top and it stands on a plinth base on turned feet.
Please note that the marble top is not as 'orange' as it appears on the photographs but is in fact a very pale terracotta.
