This is an elegant French mantle antique clock in white marble dating from around 1890. The good quality clock has a barrell movement supported on a marble column decorated with bronze detailing, surmounted with bronze birds on a quiver of arrows. There is a bronze winged cherub and vase of flowers with swag detailing and ball feet to the base. This is in excellent condition throughout and is in good running order, keeping good time. It is wound once a week, running eight days and striking a lovely tone on a bell on the hour and half hour. The enamel dial is in nice clean condition with Roman numerals and original gilt hands.
The clock measures 32 cms high 22 cms wide by 10 cms deep overall.
