Antique Victorian Walnut Chaise Longue, circa 1860 – an elegant conversation sofa of superb quality and craftsmanship.
This solid, beautifully aged piece exudes character and charm, recently reupholstered in a soft, mottled cream velour with classic button-back detailing. Strong construction with no loose joints makes it both decorative and durable, ready to enhance the perfect setting.
Dimensions: 178cm W x 80cm D x 99cm H (seat height: 38cm when sat on).
Condition: Very good antique condition with minor historic marks, light repairs, and a lovely patina typical of antique furniture. Some treated, inactive woodworm holes and a small mark (~1cm x 2cm) on the lower back, possibly from glue during reupholstery. Fitted with replacement castors and leg extensions.
