An exceptional William IV circular dining table of superb quality, crafted in richly figured rosewood of remarkable depth and colour. The top is particularly striking, displaying beautifully symmetrical grain patterns that create a bold and highly decorative surface.
The quality of the rosewood and the symmetry of the top is what sets this apart. The figuring is both dramatic and refined, with deep tones and movement in the grain that give the piece real presence. It is the sort of top that immediately draws attention and elevates the entire table.
The table stands on a substantial turned central pedestal, terminating in a platform base with finely carved scroll feet. This classic William IV form provides both stability and elegance, while allowing uninterrupted seating around the table.
