Antique Elm Box
Antique Elm Blanket Box with internal candle box.
Good rich colour,original Iron Blacksmith made hindges & Brass key Escutcheon.
As can be expected from period Elm there is evidence of old dead woodworm which we have treated as a precaution.
The feet & lower plinth have been restored by our own cabinet makers to ensure many more years of usefull life for the box.
