Antique Edwardian Mahogany Inlaid Double Bed and dating from around 1900. Both the head and foot board are the same and having a deep moulded top rail above a cross banded and inlaid frieze with slatted supports and an inlaid panel to the centre of various fruitwoods in typical Adams style of urn and swags and tails. This is above a further panel with inlaid stringing and it stands on squared and tapering legs. It has its original sprung base on screw in iron supports in very good condition and takes a standard double mattress
Measures 42.5" high to headboard x 42.5" high to footboard x 81" long x 54" wide

In very good original condition with a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our antique furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
