This fabulous smallish gutsy antique mahogany chest of drawers has all the qualities & looks of a period Georgian piece, but it dates to around the 1890-10 period. Even so, it's still a fine rare piece & just as good an investment as a period one. It has a generous serpentine front, canted corners, original brass handles & locks on the graduated drawers that also have fine dovetails & solid oak drawer bottoms. This chest sits on bold shaped bracket feet & there is a brushing slide just under the top. It's wonderful quality all over, in good original condition & is very heavy for the size.
