Versatile Cabinet - English Victorian - c1900

A useful late Victorian fruitwood cabinet cupboard with central shelf presented in good condition.

The piece is pleasingly crafted and features a desirable geometric Arts & Crafts door design.

Rising from a continuous plinth the cabinet displays a field panel door with chamfered reliefs and raised lip top.

Opening with the original brass drop handle to reveal a central shelf with an interior space perfect for documents, magazines, records, sheet music or manuscripts. Equally the piece lends itself to being used as a bedside cabinet or indeed a storage cupboard in a kitchen or larder.

Overall a pleasing English Victorian piece which offers Arts & Crafts style as well as being a functional item of antique furniture.
