Antique Brass Bird Cage c1900 with Etched Glass
A beautiful antique brass bird cage with etched glass side panels and embossed base. The bird cage has a suspension ring, opening sprung door, wooden perch and removable base, which attaches to the top with 4 clips. It was designed as a working bird cage, but now makes a lovely decorative item which could be left empty or filled with a leafy plant.
The bird cage is in good but worn condition the brass is tarnished and aged giving it an attractive muted colour. There is an old wire attached to the ring which could be used to hang the bird cage or removed.
