This is an antique afternoon tea table. An English, ebonised mahogany cake stand or occasional table, dating to the Aesthetic period, circa 1880.

Deeply ebonised mahogany stocks cut a dash beneath a wax polish finish
Circular upper tier offers a useful diameter of 38cm (15")
Rakish tri-form lower tier rotates smoothly around the baluster column support
