An interesting Victorian plant stand with decorative brass tripod frame, oak top with brass gallery and cast iron plate to the base with hanging loop.

An intriguing piece, manufactured by the renowned S.Hall & Son of Birmingham. It is assumed that the loop to the underside allows for a further plant to be hung from the underside of the platform, although this could have been used for some kind of weight if the piece were used on a ship.

Very good condition, structurally all in good order with only some desirable aged surface wear and patina.
