American Walnut Large Roll Top Desk Writing Table
Antique quality American walnut large roll top desk or writing table.
Marked 'Feige Desk Co. Saginaw, Mich'.
This is a lovely rare quality late 19th / early 20th Century piece, that is full of charm and character.
We have a key and the roll top / drawer locking mechanism works as it should.
6 single and 1 double height drawers with original dividers.
Solid with no loose joints and no significant woodworm.
The desk stands on period castors (2 per pedestal) with some wear as one would expect.
The oak lined drawers slide freely (some internal staining as one would expect).
This is a very rare (try to find another in walnut) roll top desk with lovely proportions.
Note that this piece splits into two or more pieces for transport.
Would look great in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 123.5cmW x 82.5cmD x 115.5cmH (70cmH x 49cmW knee hole).
