Aesthetic Movement Bookcase/Side Cabinet
A Victorian Aesthetic Movement open and enclosed ebonised bookcase of breakfront form. The top, frieze, plinth, door and ends with amboyna banding between boxwood and ebony stringing. With further boxwood aesthetic style inlay to the door, styles and frieze. Applied brass beading to the top, frieze and door panel. The open bookcases with 3 adjustable shelves and replaced gold tooled leather dust covers. The interior cupboard with 2 shelves. This bookcase is ebonised mahogany with very slight signs of fading and 1 or 2 old, small but not serious bruises.
