A good example of a country arm chair in yew tree and elm. Raised on turned legs which are united by a crinoline stretcher. The saddle seat is particularly well grained and the whole is in good and original condition and of has excellent colour and patina. 890mm high, 520mm wide, 560mm deep and 460mm seat height. English. Circa 1830 W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries. Now under the stewardship of Mark and his wife, Louise, we take pride in maintaining the high standards which William set more than 50 years ago.
