A Thornton Pickard Junior Special camera

A Thornton Pickard Junior Special camera, in original CANVAS case.
This is a Thornton-Pickard Junior Special Reflex box camera from approximately 1926–1935. It comes complete with the original (wood/board?), canvas covered carrying case, featuring the Thornton Pickard logo.
Design: The camera features a mahogany body covered in black leather.
Shutter: It utilizes a focal plane shutter.
Lens: It is equipped with a Taylor-Hobson Anastigmat lens.
Usage: It was designed for use with glass photographic plates.
Included is a photograph, presumably taken by a previous owner. The camera is untested by me. The camera body is in good shape with some edge wear to the hide although the rest of the metal parts appear to be in very good condition without rips or splits to the bellows. Due to the age and nature of this item it is being sold as described without guarantees
Camera measures 8” (H) X 8” (D) X 7 ½” (W) when closed
Camera measures 8” (H) X 10” (D) X 7 ½” (W) fully open
The lens extends, by means of a knurled bakelite knob on the left side of the camera, exposing the bellows, which are in good condition.
The lens is marked "Made by Taylor-Hobson England. No 206597 T P. COOKE ANASTIGMATIC 6 inch f/4.5 5.6 8 11 16 22 32."
The top of the camera has a folding viewfinder and the cover plate is embossed with the company logo.
The left side of the camera has in addition to the focus knob, a peg for attaching a strap and, attached by two strong metal D rings, a leather hand strap.
The right side has a matching peg and the shutter controls, a large bakelite knob for setting the speed from 1/10 - 1/1000 of a second and a lockable lever to hold the shutter open for viewfinding.
The back of the camera has a small folding chimney style viewfinder which is hinged and allows the 3 ½ " x 5 ½ " plates held in dark-slides to be inserted. The base of the camera has four metal stud feet and a hole tapped for tripod mounts.
This item will be well packed to insure it arrives to you in as described condition.
