A superb quality "D" end table by Holland & Son, on end supports with carved legs, scroll toes and shaped supports united by a turner stretcher. Above is a single mahogany lined drawer with original handles and lock and also bearing the makers impressed mark. The table is in rosewood with a beautifully figured walnut top with inset satinwood banding. In very good and original condition and with a good colour and patina. 740mm high, 910mm wide and 550mm deep. Circa 1830. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries. Now under the stewardship of Mark and his wife, Louise, we take pride in maintaining the high standards which William set more than 50 years ago.
