A Superb Set Of 10 Dining Chairs
A superb set of Chippendale revival dining chairs. Dating from the late 19th century and consisting of eight standard and two carved chairs. This set is constructed from fine quality, dense mahogany. They are raised on cabroile legs with claw and ball feet and carved acanthus knees. The backs are particularly well carved, with scrolls, hare-bells, acanthus leaves and other foliate designs. In very good and original condition and upholstered in yellow damask. 940mm high, 560mm wide, 580mm deep and 460mm seat height. English. Circa 1890.
