A superb Georgian style mahogany sofa. Dating from the third quarter of the 19th century it is raised on beautifully carved cabriole legs with claw and ball feet, shell carved knees, hare bells and scrolls, all in rich dense mahogany. The sofa also has a well shaped beech frame and retains its original horse hair upholstery, which requires recovering. In very good and original condition. 940mm high, 1760mm wide and 970mm deep. English. Circa 1870.
