A Superb 18th Century Marquetry Sidetable.
A superb 18th century Dutch marquetry walnut serpentine sidetable, consisting of one long drawer over two short drawers. The table has fine spider type legs, with the entire body of the table decorated with a plethora of ornate and attractive floral and foliate marquetry. The shapely top is decorated with more flamboyant marquetry with an urn full of flowers in the center, surrounded by an abundance of foliate decoration and a pair of birds at either end.
The table has a wonderful colour and is in very good condition, there are some signs of old wood worm and restorations commensurate with age.
