A French School work of a sunlit coastal colonnade, c.1900. Oil on canvas.

The work depicts three arches through which a distant seascape can be seen with sun dappled cobbles to the fore with a silhouette of a woman carrying sticks.

The work is housed in a gilt frame. 'Army & Navy Auxiliary C. S' retailer sticker verso.
