A Set Of 16 Oak Dining Chairs
Comprising of 14 standard and 2 arm chairs and raised on Braganza front feet and scroll back feet. The chairs also feature carved rails and brass lion mask embelishments and have been upholstered in brass nailed suede. 1050mm high, 520mm wide and 500mm deep. Circa 1900.
N.B. 5 of the standard chairs are very slightly different to the rest, the lions masks of these chairs is carved in wood and on the remaining chairs they are brass, this is only noticeable on close inspection. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries. Now under the stewardship of Mark and his wife, Louise, we take pride in maintaining the high standards which William set more than 50 years ago.
