A rare kidney table firmly attributed to Gillows Gillows  table of Lancaster and London %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Constructed in finely figured burl elm, the "hockey stick" end supports each enclosing three tapering, ebonised and turned ‘triple spindles’ and terminating in original brass castors with a foliate design. The top is of highly decorative burl elm and retains its original brass gallery. In very good condition. 965mm wide, 470mm deep and 750mm high. Circa 1825.
